Target Systems, Stands & Accessories 

Steel Ops warranties all Steel Targets, Stands, and Accessories against workmanship and manufacturing defects such as welds for the life of the target.  Abuse, Neglect, or normal wear and tear are not covered under our warranty.  Using the targets in any manner other than directed will void this warranty. Shooting steel core ammunition, shooting rifle rounds at handgun-only targets, shooting calibers not listed in the ratings section, or shooting at ranges closer than recommended will void all warranties. This warranty should not be construed to include material defects or strength of steel. Ratings should be used for reference and we do not guarantee nor warranty any product against pitting, punctures, or penetrations.  If pitting or bending occurs move your target further away. We do not guarantee any specified round counts for any product.  We will not warranty any product that is unsafe or that has been damaged by abuse or neglect.  Firing any round of any type at under 100 yards will shorten the life of the steel product.  Mill Certifications for the quality of steel are kept to ensure our product description is accurate and those may be provided in the event of a discrepancy.  Powder Coat is not covered under our warranty. 
Armor Plates 

We do not in any way warranty Body Armor Plates nor ballistic coatings.  All body armor plates are sold "as is" and "with all faults".  Any descriptions, rating, certifications, or test results provided for Body Armor are for informational purposes only and should not be construed to provide a warranty nor guarantee of any kind. Steel Ops does not warranty plate carriers and all kits or carriers are sold "as is" and "with all faults".  All coating specifications listed are approximations and each plate is carefully inspected for mil thickness prior to distribution. The coating thickness specified is based on a 200 mil average with a +/- variance of 50 mils (~3/64").  We do not guarantee a specified thickness.  Due to the nature and purpose of body armor we do not allow returns or exchanges of any kind and all sales are final.  Please understand it would be highly unethical for us to resell or distribute potentially used body armor. When a customer receives a plate we want them to know they are the first to wear it.  
"Use It, Don't Lose It" - Body Armor Replacement Policy

If at anytime your armor plate is struck with a projectile fired from a handgun, rifle, or shotgun while in the line of duty or during a lawful, reported, and verifiable act of self defense, we will replace the plate free of charge.  A police report or official government statement must accompany your request detailing the entirety of the incident. You must also include at least one photo of yourself in possession of the plate. Used plates must be returned to Steel Ops at the owners expense prior to replacement and will be returned to the owner after inspection.  All replacements are subject to the approval of Steel Ops Ltd. and requests may take up to six weeks to process.  If a particular plate has been discontinued, upgraded, or changed the customer will be provided with a similar size plate of equal or greater protection level. Custom plates will be replaced to the closest possible dimensions and shape as the original at an equal or greater protection level.   

GENERAL WARRANTY INFORMATION

All warranty/replacement requests must be be made in writing accompanied by pictures to our email.  Steel Ops may also request that the defective items be shipped back to us, the initial cost of which will be the customer's responsibility. Should a legitimate warranty issue be found those shipping costs may be refunded to the customer in the form of store credit and/or discounts.  We do not allow returns or refunds for any used products.  Unused products must be inspected by Steel Ops Ltd at the customers expense before a return will be accepted. No cash refunds, only discounts or store credit will be provided.  To file a warranty claim please email us with pictures or call our office at 970-568-1191 to speak to a representative.  Rest assured that our industry leading customer satisfaction rating is an indication of how we handle our warranty issues. 

Will we share your data with Law Enforcement?:

When you place an order online the data you provide may be collected by at least five separate companies. These companies include Steel Ops Ltd, GoDaddy, Stripe credit card processing, UPS or USPS for shipping, and your browser (Google, Yahoo, etc). It may also be collected by your internet service provider, celluar carrier, social media sites, etc.   Steel Ops Ltd does not share any of the data that you provide to us with any other company, affiliate, or third party for any reason.  Steel Ops Ltd does not share your purchase history, personal information, or correspondance with any law enforcement or regulatory agency without a warrant or official governement subpoena.  Additionally, unless said warrant or subpoena specifically prohibits it, we will attempt to notify you to the best of our ability within 24 hours should a request be made for any information you have provided to us. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this site passes to the purchaser once a shipping company has taken possession of the item(s).  Steel Ops will not be responsible for lost or stolen packages once they leave our facility. We insure the value of each shipment up to $150.00 and that amount MAY be recovered at the discretion of Steel Ops.  If you suspect that an order has been lost or stolen in transit please contact the shipping company AND Steel Ops Ltd immediately. Any order that shows as "delivered" by the shipping carrier will not be refunded or replaced.  Due to the nature of our products we encourage customers to send orders to the most secure address possible, do not leave delivered goods unattended.  Tracking information is provided by the carrier service. If you have not received this information after placing an order please check you spam or junk folder.     

Always wear hearing and eye protection while setting up or using Steel Ops products. Serious injury or death may occur when shooting any firearm at steel objects. Serious injury or death may occur if you are shot or struck with any type of projectile or object while wearing body armor. By purchasing and using our product(s) the customer assumes all liability for the proper installation and operation, and further indemnifies and holds harmless to the fullest extent allowable by law Steel Ops Ltd as well as any officer, heir, staff, associate, and vendor thereof for any injuries or damages that may or may not occur, whether known or unknown, as a result of the use, purchase, or possession of any product(s). By purchasing, using, or attempting to use any Steel Ops product(s) the customer acknowledges that shooting, carrying, owning, or residing in close proximity to firearms is an inherently dangerous activity and that any use of steel targets or body armor can result in serious injury or death.  Proper installation and safety are the responsibility of the Customer. By attempting to purchase or use Steel Ops products the Customer thereby acknowledges that they are legally, mentally, and physically capable of proper installation and use of any product and that they fully understand all risks associated with all Steel Ops products.  Body Armor and Targets are not in any way guaranteed to prevent or mitigate any type of bodily injury or death and should only be used at your own risk. By attempting to purchase any Body Armor product from Steel Ops Ltd you are acknowledging, agreeing, and certifying that; 

1) You are a legal US Citizen and at least 18 years of age on the date of purchase, 

2) You are legally allowed to posses and purchase the item, 

3) You permanently reside and will provide shipping information in a state that allows the purchase and possession of the item,  

4) You are of sound mind and judgement and will be responsible for any misuse of a Steel Ops Ltd product, 

5) You understand there is no guarantee or warranty of any kind implied or given for the item and all items are sold as is, ​

6) You are not a fugitive, felon, nor do you intend to use the item in any unlawful manner, 

7) You are not purchasing the item under duress nor for anyone who does not meet all of these requirements, 

8) You are not a local, state, or federal agent attempting to entrap, test, or investigate any owner, employee, or associate of Steel Ops Ltd, 

9) You are not a resident of the State of Connecticut OR that you are an active law enforcement agent,

10) You are not a resident of the State of New York OR that you are actively engaged in an eligible profession as defined under NY Law,  

11) You have fully read, understand, and agree to all of the terms, conditions, warranties, policies, and specifications of all Steel Ops products. 

12) You acknowledge that any breach of any of the above terms or condiditions may result in a loss of your entire order a denial of reimbursement for any or all of the funds collected. 

BODY ARMOR REGULATORY NOTICE

All Steel Ops Armor products are regulated by the Office of Export Enforcement and are subject to the regulations set forth upon Export Commodity Control Number 1A613 d.2 referenced in Part 774 of the U.S. Commerce Control List.  Sale, Transfer, or Export of Steel Ops Body Armor outside of these regulations is prohibited and may constitute a federal crime. 

BODY ARMOR SPECIFIC SALES POLICY

We reserve the right to refuse body armor sales to anyone for any reason.  Any order placed that does not meet the criteria above may be refunded less any processing fees withheld by our credit card processing company.  In order to protect our company and operate within the constraints of US law, Steel Ops may at its discretion request identification, proof of employment, or proof of citizenship prior to shipping an order regardless of payment status.  If a customer places an order for any regulated products and pays in full but is unable to provide the requested form of identification, proof of employment, or proof of citizenship a refund may be granted at the discretion of Steel Ops Ltd.  The refund amount and terms of any reimbursement will be entirely at the discretion of Steel Ops Ltd.   Providing inaccurate, omissive, or misleading information in regards to any transaction may result in the refusal of service and, in order to protect our own interests and limit our own liability, may result in the notification of authorities for investigation.  Please contact our office with any questions or concerns - (970)-568-1191

In-Stock standard production products will process immediately and usually ship within 1-2 business days thru UPS Ground which runs 5-7 days to most of the continental US.  Custom orders, bulk orders, and international orders may have as much as 2 week processing times and 7-10 shipping times. Steel Ops ships merchandise to locations within the United States, however additional shipping fees will apply to any order outside the lower 48 states.  International customers or customers in Alaska & Hawaii must contact us prior to ordering as additional shipping rates apply.  Customers who attempt to place an international order without contacting us will have their order refunded less any credit card processing fees.  Customers in Hawaii or Alaska who place an order without contacting us first will have their order held until shipping fees have been collected.  Processing fee's cannot be refunded by Steel Ops Ltd as we do not collect them and they are deducted by the Processor.  You will have to contact the credit card processor for a refund of these fees.  Steel Ops can ship most merchandise to Canada per the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) pending a verification of end user.  Steel Ops can also ship products to other countries in good standing with the US State Deptartment and who have no export restrictions.  All international orders are subject to approval from the US Office of Export Enforcement.  Many products can be shipped to APO's but must go thru USPS which can add up to 2 business days for processing and additional shipping fees.  Anyone placing an order destined for an APO is encouraged to contact us prior to placing an order so as to verify actual shipping fees.  Body Armor products are subject to the regulations set forth upon Export Commodity Control Number 1A613 d.2 referenced in Part 774 of the U.S. Commerce Control List.  Other international locations may vary, please contact our office for more information. Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details. Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Steel Ops is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices. All International customers must contact our office prior to ordering. Any international order placed without contacting our office first and obtaining authorization will be automatically refunded less and credit card processing fees deducted by the processor. 

Steel Ops charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site and our web store based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.
